When it comes to being sexy in Hollywood there was no better looking girl than Brittany Murphy who was a sex symbol in her own right who many men as well as women admired. Unfortunately she died tragically late last year in December of 2009 which means that we will not get to see her in any more movies. Brittany died from a strange combination of being very sick as well as taking many different medications to try to feel better. The combination did not go well together and paramedics found her collapse in her home. By the time she was taken to hospital Brittany had died in the ambulance. Many of her fans will agree that this is very much a shame because she always did such a great job as an actress. Brittany had more than spunk, she also had guts too which is why she was able to make it to the top in Hollywood. Her career went very well right up until her death starring in many movies as well as TV programs.
On TV we got to see Brittany on Murphy Brown which was a comical drama where she played one of the main characters sisters for one episode. That same year and the next she was a main character in 18 episodes of Drexell’s Class. Brittany played the role of Brenda Drexell in this TV show. By the age of 15 Brittany Murphy was playing roles in other sitcoms like Kid’s Incorporated and Parker Lewis Can’t Lose. For a longer role in 1993 she was able to secure a character in Almost Home which went for one season. Frasier has had her as a quest on the show as well as the SeaQuest TV series. She is well known for being the voice of Luanne for 1997 to 2009 until she died.
Her movie career started two years after she had started in television which was 1993 when she appeared in Family Prayers. Two years later the still classic Clueless was released which Brittany played the character Tai. In 1997 the movie Bongwater came out which was a movie that stirred up a lot of controversy. Riding in Cars with Boys was the next big selling movie that can out in 2001 where she played Fay Foster which was one of the main characters. Who could not remember her performance in 8 Mile with rapper Eminem who got to give it o her on screen. One of the last movies that she appeared in will come out this year called Abandoned which sounds like something to see if you are a Brittany Murphy fan.

Perhaps it was being born in Atlanta, Georgia and raised in Edison New Jersey that bestowed Brittany Murphy with the adaptability that allowed her to conquer a fairly prodigious amount of projects. She first honed her acting skills in regional theatre at the age of 9 and by the age of 13, she had signed on with a manager and began appearing in television commercials. In 1991, at the age of 13, Brittany and her mother moved to Burbank, California, where she landed her first television role on the show Blossom. This lead to a starring role on Drexell’s Class, a series that proved to be short lived. The major breakthrough of Brittany Murphy was in Clueless, the Emma meets Beverly Hills 90210 comedy in which she starred opposite Alicia Silverstone. She went on to demonstrate her versatility and talent for not only comedy but also drama.
